ÖGMBT Single Molecule Biology Work Group

We thank you for your participation.

Motto

Single molecule biology is more than just a technique. It is based on the philosophy that the behavior of individual constituents allow for conclusions on the entire biosystem. Furthermore, single-molecule studies offer the possibility to map nanostructures, which is highly relevant for biology in general.

It became apparent in recent years that a new language must be found that allows technology developers and users to exploit the potential of the new access will also be real. We want to offer this ÖGMBT Working Group, as a suitable forum for this.

These meetings are organised to enable the exchange of ideas. In addition, our resources are available for travel expenses in order to conduct field experiments as a basis for project proposals.

First Working Group Meeting

We hold the first symposium as an event to learn about the working group members from the 28th to the 30th of August 2012. There will be presentations by PIs and co-workers, a poster session, with a lot of time and space for discussion. The target audience is researchers who use, develop or are interested in single molecule techniques.

Venue

The symposium takes place in a very peaceful and inspiring environment, at a conference hotel in Litschau (Forest Quarter, Lower Austria).
Conference fee including accommodation and full meals: 215 EUR. We have reserved apartments for two persons with two rooms but joint facilities. On request, there are single person apartments available for 245 EUR.
